Roberto Gutiérrez Frías is a Mexican pro wrestler who has had most of his success in Lucha Libre as El Dandy.

He was a mainstay with Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre with feuds with major stars like Satánico, El Hijo del Santo and Emilio Charles, Jr. He also had a run with World Championship Wrestling and had a hand in training WWE's Lita. He had a brief run in WCW with Silver King as Los Fabulosos in which they were managed by Stacy Keibler and he was also a member of the Latino World Order. Dandy became somewhat of a cult figure in smark circles after Bret Hart said "Who are you to doubt El Dandy? during an interview where Gene Okerlund was asking about challengers for his U. S. title. After leaving WCW, he went back to Mexico as part of Asistencia Asesoría y Administración but left after a year to work as an independent. In 2004, his match against L.A. Park was voted Box y Lucha's match of the year.

Crazy Boy (born March 30, 1978) is a Mexican pro wrestler who is best known in Lucha Libre. He currently works for Asistencia Asesoría y Administración in Mexico. Crazy Boy is the first cousin of Super Crazy.

Crazy Boy is an AAA midcard tecnico and a member of the Mexicanpowers. He's a recent addition to AAA, having spent some time in the CMLL undercards. He's most known for his indy work in hardcore/extreme Mexican promotions. Crazy Boy's style is very much inspired by US and Japanese indy/hardcore wrestling. He can do spectacular spots, but can also screw up spectacular spots and doesn't seem like the safest guy to work with. He's a spot machine and not a story teller, but his work got him over in front of the indy promotions he worked with and propelled into a like minded team in AAA.

Crazy Boy's stint in CMLL ended in a messy way, with Crazy pulling himself out from an Arena Mexico show (which would've been his first CMLL one there), claiming an injury from a just completed Japanese tour, only to show up as surprise in AAA a few days later

Along with Juventud Guerrera, Joe Lider and AAA's version of psicosis he won AAA's Campeonato Atomico (4 man tag team champioship)

Octavio López Arriola is a Mexican pro wrestler who is best known in Lucha Libre as Cibernético. He currently works for Asistencia Asesoría y Administración in Mexico.

Cibernético is a long time member of AAA, as well as it's rudo faction LLL. In 2004, he created the group La Secta Cibernética - a psuedo-religious cult, with Cibernetico as it's leader.

Cibernético brought in Muerte Cibernética to take care of long tme rival La Parka Jr., the man who took Cibernético's mask. This move went badly: La Parka Jr. took Muerte's mask as well, and then Muerte took over leadership of La Secta when Cibernetico suffered a knee injury. Cibernetico is still recovering, but appears to becoming a tecnico based on his non-wrestling involvement. Cibernetico's expected to return to the ring either at the close of 2006 or the start of 2007.

While appearing on a Mexican TV show, Cibernético got into a fight with Mexican boxer Jorge Kawaghi. The two were supposed to have an arm-wrestling match, but it turned into a small brawl before they were pulled apart. Cibernetico and AAA have steadfastly claimed it was a legitimate unscheduled brawl, but footage and news reports later exposed the staged nature of the fight. Nonetheless, Cibernetico's become a minor celebrity due to the brawl, and AAA's attempted to capitalize it (and repeat it, with Tiffany and Esterllita also getting into 'real' fights on Mexican talk shows.)

There's been no in-ring match between Cibernetico and Kawaghi as of yet, but it may still occur after Cibernetico recovers from his knee injury. Cibernetico's absence from the ring was originally explained as a suspension for getting into the fight, but they seemed to have dropped the cover story to focus in on Cibernetico's knee instead.

Ciberenetico has a real life relationship with Estrellita, which was brought into storylines in 2006.

Dionicio Castellanos Torres is a Mexican pro wrestler (best known by the stage names Psychosis or Psicosis) currently performing as Nicho El Millionaro in Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre. He is a two-time WCW Cruiserweight Champion and has performed for WWE, ECW Asistencia Asesoria y Administracion, TNA Wrestling, and Xtreme Pro Wrestling.

Castellanos started wrestling as Psicosis for the Asistencia Asesoria y Administracion promotion in his native Baja California in March 1989, after being trained by Rey Misterio, Sr. and his brother, Fobia. Some of his biggest feuds were with Rey Mysterio and El Hijo del Santo. He frequently feuded with La Parka although he would team with him later in WCW, Juventud Guerrera and Juvi's father, Fuerza Guerrera. Also, he appeared in the movie/documentary "101 Reasons Not To Be A Pro Wrestler".

Psicosis first made a name for himself in the United States in joining ECW in 1995.

He then switched to WCW as Psychosis in 1996. His Nitro debut match took place at WCW Monday Nitro July 8, 1996 against Eddie Guerrero during WCW's tour of Disney MGM Studios. Through the early years, Psychosis would typically face other luchadores, frequently getting a spot during Pay-Per-View events. He faced La Parka at Spring Stampede March 19, 1998 a match in which he won. Many people don't know (mostly because WCW never acknowledged it) that Psychosis was actually a member of the nWo in Konnan's Promo Azteca. Other members included Rey Misterio (not to be confused with Rey, Jr.) and Holloween/Ciclope.

In 1999, Psychosis joined Eddie Guerrero's Latino World Order (LWO). The group, made up entirely of Mexican wrestlers, would be disbanded at the hands of the nWo shortly after.

Later in his career, Psychosis was frequently managed by Sonny Onoo and had a regular tag team with La Parka. Psychosis originally lost his mask to Rey Misterio, Jr. during a tour of Mexico. Psychosis removed the mask and handed it to Rey, Jr. while simutanously covering his face with a towel. The reason for this was that Psychosis was not supposed to lose his mask. He would later go on to lose his mask to Billy Kidman on an episode of Nitro. On occasion, he was also paired with Juventud Guerrera. When Guerrera won the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Title on WCW TV and then got injured, Vince Russo stripped Guerrera and had Psychosis and La Parka go for the vacant title, which Psychosis won. He then lost it to Jushin Liger the same night.

During the April 19, 1999 edition of WCW Monday Nitro, Psychosis defeated Blitzkrieg, Juventud Guerrera, and Rey Mysterio in a 4-way bout to win the WCW Cruiserweight Championship for the first time. This reign would be short-lived, however, as he would lose it to Rey Mysterio not long after.

On September 27, 1999, Psychosis competed in a máscara contra caballera (mask vs. hair) match against Billy Kidman. Kidman won, and like both Juventud Guerrera and Rey Mysterio before him, Psychosis was forced to unmask.

Psychosis had a second, rather forgettable Cruiserweight Title reign in WCW. When the previous champion Lenny Lane (who portrayed a flamboyant homosexual on television) got WCW in hot water with the GLAAD, Lane was pulled from television. Psychosis was given the belt only to lose it to Disco Inferno.

Psychosis left WCW before the sale to the WWE owner and chairman Vince McMahon and was part of the short-lived Xtreme Wrestling Federation, wrestled in World Wrestling All-Stars and also for All Japan Pro Wrestling. He also made a brief return to ECW as well, competing there from July-November 2000. The highlight of his second run was an incredible match with Yoshihiro Tajiri at the ECW Arena. Psychosis was also part of "La Familia" with Konnan, Juventud Guerrera, Halloween and Damien in Xtreme Pro Wrestling, an adaptation of the group in Mexico consisting of himself, Halloween, Damien 666 and Rey Misterio, Sr.

Psychosis had a dispute with TICKLE in Mexico which held the rights to his ring name, so he switched it to Nicho El Millonario and continued to work in Mexico, mostly in Tijuana with occasional dates in the United States and Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre. In 2005, he returned to AAA to feud with a wrestler by the name of El Leon Negro who assumed the name "Psicosis" when he originally left the promotion. The two had a "name vs. name" ladder match at Triplemania XIII but Histeria ran in and took the name for himself so the feud evolved into a three way feud.

Psicosis made a few appearances for TNA Wrestling and wrestled at the TNA Pay-Per-View Victory Road 2004 as part of the 20 man international invitational, he was eliminated and the Tournament went on to be won by fellow luchadore and former LWO member Héctor Garza.

In 2005, Castellanos signed a contract with WWE. He appeared at the WWE-promoted ECW One Night Stand 2005 PPV on June 12, 2005 losing to Rey Mysterio, and first appeared on WWE television on the June 18, 2005 airing of WWE Velocity, teaming with Super Crazy to defeat Akio and Billy Kidman.

Psicosis, Super Crazy, and Juventud would group together to form a stable known as The Mexicools. The group made their debut as heels on June 23, 2005 when all three members rode to the ring on a John Deere lawn mower, with the sticker saying Juan Deere to be more Mexican, wearing matching coveralls and attacked both participants of a Chavo Guerrero and Paul London's WWE Cruiserweight Championship match.

Juventud cut a promo questioning the lack of "true Mexican Luchadores" in the cruiserweight division, before going on to deride the current state of Mexican Americans in general. Psicosis dubbed the lawnmower they arrived on a "Mexican Limo 2005" and the group claimed that even Mexico's President mocks Mexicans in the United States (he was referring to Vicente Fox's controversial remark that Mexican immigrants do the jobs "not even the blacks want to do"). Juventud then stated that they were "no longer there to clean toilets and work for "them" (the "gringos") but "they" were going to be working for "us" (The Mexicools)", before dubbing the team "not Mexicans but Mexicools!" In the following weeks, they would continue to interfere in matches and mock the stereotypical image of Mexicans in the United States, even coming to the ring each with their own riding lawnmower.

On July 24, 2005 at the Great American Bash in Buffalo, New York,in a match against the members of the bWo in a six-man tag match, the group pinned Steven Richards to secure the Mexicools' first PPV win. The trio then turned face by feuding with Nunzio and Vito.

During the December 2, 2005 edition of SmackDown! Super Crazy and Psicosis competed in an over the top rope battle royal against 5 other tag teams, the pair managed to win and earned themselves a match against MNM at Armageddon 2005 for the WWE tag team titles, unfortunately for the Mexicools, MNM lost the tag team titles before their match.

During the January 27, 2006 edition of SmackDown! Super Crazy and Psicosis defeated The Dicks and the F.B.I. in a three-way tag team match to win spots in the 2006 Royal Rumble match on January 29, 2006. During that same Royal Rumble match, Psicosis entered at Number 4, but was quickly eliminated by Rey Mysterio.

During mid-2006 the ECW brand was redeveloped and with this came the expectations that Super Crazy would leave Psicosis, and SmackDown!, for the new ECW. This was later fueled with a match that would see Yoshihiro Tajiri and Super Crazy team up and face the F.B.I. at ECW One Night Stand 2006. At this time, Psicosis's partnership with Crazy began to crumble when Psicosis repeatedly abandoned Crazy during incidents with The Great Khali. The team would soon split with Psicosis turning heel. Psicosis' match against Super Crazy on July 21, 2006, in which he lost, would be his last televised WWE appearance.

Psicosis's release was posted on WWE.com on November 1st, officially releasing him from his contract.

Psicosis is currently working as Nicho El Millionaro in Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL). At the end of 2006, he accidentally shattered his nose in a match against Hijo del Misterio, and also got his head shaved. He was rushed to a nearby hospital to get his nose set following the match.

On the March 3rd, 2007 televised episode of AAA, Psicosis came as Nicho and started a fight with Cibernetico. He had worn a La Parka mask pretending to be him in order to get La Parka expelled from AAA.

Psicosis was arrested on Monday, October 9, 2006 the night after he allegedly stole a car from 23 year old Alexander Valencia Ramirez of Playas de Rosarito, Baja California, reports Mexican newspaper El Mexicano.

The newspaper story claimed that Psicosis asked to borrow Ramirez's black Mitsubishi, promising to return it later that night. Ramirez refused, leading to Psicosis pulling a gun on him and taking the car anyway. Ramirez called the police who set up roadblocks around Rosarito. Psicosis hit several cars while in the chase including one that had a pregnant woman inside. After catching him, police found out that the gun he used earlier in the night was actually just a water gun.

Carmelo Reyes González is a Mexican pro wrestler, better known by his ring name, Cien Caras ("Hundred Faces"). He is best known for his appearances with the Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre.

After training under Diablo Velasco and Pantera Negra, Carmelo debuted in 1974 under the ring name "Mil Caras", but due to the confusion with Mil Máscaras, he dropped 900 units to become "Cien Caras". Caras was initially a técnico, but quickly developed a more violent wrestling style, and became a rudo. He lost his mask in the culmination of a feud with Rayo De Jalisco.

On June 24, 1987 in Nezahualcóyotl, State of Mexico, Caras defeated MS-1 for the NWA World Light Heavyweight Wrestling Championship. He held the title until March 20, 1988, when he lost to Lizmark in Mexico City, Mexican Federal District.

On August 18, 1991 in Monterrey, Caras defeated Konnan to become the second ever CMLL World Heavyweight Champion. He held the title until leaving the CMLL in May 1992, vacating the title in the process. Caras followed Konnan to the newly formed Asistencia Asesoría y Administración, where he continued his feud. At the inaugural TripleMania event on April 30, 1993, Caras defeated Konnan in a two out of three falls retirement match by count-out after Jake "The Snake" Roberts interfered on his behalf. Caras remained in the AAA for several years before returning to the CMLL.

In CMLL, Caras is a member of the stable Los Capos ("The Bosses") with his two younger brothers, Mascara Año Dos Mil 2000 and Universo Dos Mil (Los Hermanos Dinamita—"The Dynamite Brothers"), and Apolo Dantes. In 2004, Caras and Mascara Año Dos Mil were defeated by Perro Aguayo, Jr. and El Terrible in a hair versus hair tag team match, with Caras and Mascara having their heads shaved . Caras and Mascara fought Aguayo, Jr. and his father, Perro Aguayo, in a second hair versus hair match in February 2005, with Caras and Mascara losing once again. The match was billed as Caras's retirement match, but he continues to wrestle in secondary CMLL venues.

The Blue Panther is a Mexican pro wrestler currently working for Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre. The "Blue" part of his ring name is an homage to Aníbal, a wrestler he looked up to growing up who wore a blue mask.

Blue Panther began wrestling in northern Mexico in the late 1970s before getting noticed by René Guajardo in Monterrey. Guarjardo got Panther booked in Universal Wrestling Association and Panther made his debut in their main building, El Torero de Cuatros Caminos in Naucalpan, in 1981. He wrestled on the undercard as a rudo (heel) before getting his first push in 1984 by winning the UWA World Welterweight championship from veteran worker Matemático at the end of the year. He had a feud with Black Man that saw him lose his UWA Welterweight title but win Black Man's mask in 1986. During the remainder of his UWA career, he won the UWA World Junior Light Heavyweight Championship from Gran Hamada and traded the title back and forth with Solar I and won the mask of Kendo.

In 1991, he jumped to Empresa Mexicana de Lucha Libre and began a feud with Atlantis over the NWA World Middleweight Championship. Although Blue Panther was unsuccessful in his August title challenge, the feud established him as a top rudo in EMLL, leading to him defeating Satánico to become the first CMLL World Middleweight Wrestling Champion when the company changed names and created new titles. In late 1991, he began feuding with the American Love Machine. Their April 1992 "Mask vs. Mask" mask, where Love Machine was disqualified for using an illegal Martinete (piledriver), sold out Arena México and 8,000 fans watched the match on big screens outside the arena. The following month, he jumped to Antonio Peña's new AAA promotion and continued his feud with Love Machine with a "hair vs. mask" match win in July 1993. The match featured a double turn which led to Love Machine becoming a rudo and forming Los Gringos Locos with Eddie Guerrero.

Much of his time in AAA was spent in programs based around the National Middleweight Championship. He worked programs with Ángel Azteca, Super Astro, Solar I and Octagón. After the downturn of the Mexican economy, he started his own promotion with several business partners called PROMELL (later Promo Azteca). When the promotion failed, he returned to AAA briefly in 1997 but he was unhappy being programmed with Máscara Sagrada, Jr. and jumped to CMLL by the end of the year. In 1998, Panther teamed with Dr. Wagner, Jr. and his real-life nephew Black Warrior to form "Los Laguneros." The team won a tournament to win the vacant CMLL World Trios Championship. In 1999, Panther and Wagner teamed to feud with Negro Casas and El Hijo del Santo for the CMLL World Tag Team Wrestling Championship with an unsuccessful title challenge in September of that year. In 2000 and 2001, Los Laguneros successfully defended their titles against Los Villanos (III, IV & V) and the team of Negro Casas, Emilio Charles, Jr. and Tarzan Boy while Blue Panther had a singles feud with Olímpico.

In 2002, Black Warrior left Los Laguneros and the trios titles were vacated. Fuerza Guerrera replaced Black Warrior and they won another tournament for the CMLL World Trios title but they reigned for only three months before dropping the titles to Black Warrior, Atlantis and Mr. Niebla. Over time, Blue Panther was getting booked more as a técnico (face) and began to team with former rivals, Atlantis, Lizmark, Jr. and Mr. Niebla as La Ola Azul in a feud with Los Guerreros del Infierno. In 2004, Atlantis and Blue Panther defeated Último Guerrero and Rey Bucanero to win the CMLL World Tag Team Wrestling Championship. Three months after successfully defending the titles against Olímpico and Rey Bucanero, Atlantis and Panther lost the titles to the team of Averno and Mephisto in April 2005. When Atlantis turned rudo, Panther feuded with him off and on and the two often ripped at each other's masks, hinting at a possible mask vs. mask match.

The Blue Demon (April 24, 1922–December 16, 2000) was the stage name of the Mexican masked wrestler Alejandro Muñoz Moreno, who was widely considered to be one of the greatest Mexican wrestlers of his time.

Alejandro was born April 24, 1922 in Rinconada, Nuevo León . He was the child of farmers and was the fifth of twelve children. At young age, Alexander dropped out of school and moved to Monterrey, where his uncles gave him a job working on the National Railroad. His co-workers there gave him the nickname 'Manotas', referring to his large, powerful hands.

A chance meeting with the famous Mexican wrestler Rolando Vera piqued his interest in Lucha Libre, Vera even offering to tutor him and help him start a career. He began wrestling without a mask in Laredo, Texas. His first match was against Chema Lopez on March 12, 1948, a match which he won handily. Adopting the mask and persona of The Blue Demon, he headed back to Mexico to start a real career. His first appearance as The Blue Demon was in Mexico City in September of 1948, where he fought Benny Arcilla. Blue began his career in the ring as a rudo. From there, he formed a famous team with another well-known masked luchador named The Black Shadow, and the two became known as Los Hermanos Shadow over the next few years.

In 1952, the famous wrestler Santo beat and unmasked The Black Shadow in the ring, which triggered Blue's decision to become a técnico in the ring, as well as a legendary feud between The Blue Demon and Santo that culminated in Blue's beating Santo in a well-publicized series of matches in 1952 and again in 1953. In 1953, he won the NWA World Welterweight Championship from Santo, and held it until 1958. Their rivalry never really ended in later years, although they appeared together in a series of horror films, since Santo always remembered his defeat at the Blue Demon's hands.

Blue Demon first appeared in cameos in a couple of innocuous wrestling/action flicks made in 1961, where he was just one of several wrestlers who appeared in the background. But in 1964, Enrique Vergara, the producer of the then-successful Santo movies, decided to diversify a bit and allowed the 42-year-old Blue Demon a series of action/horror films of his own. The plots of the Blue Demon movies are thought to be extremely similar to those of Santo's, and also that Vergara wanted to cultivate a second movie star, since at the time Santo was looking to get himself a large raise.

From 1964 to 1977, Blue Demon starred in a total of 25 action/horror/sci-fi films, and more recently was the subject of a feature-length Mexican documentary entitled Blue Demon, the Champion (1989). Of those 25 films, Santo co-starred with him in nine of them, though the two were never good friends in real life. In three of his films, Blue Demon starred as the leader of a squadron of masked superheroes known as The Champions of Justice (which for some reason never counted Santo among their ranks). Membership in the Champions included such legendary Mexican wrestling figures as Mil Mascaras, Tinieblas, El Rayo de Jalisco, El Medico Asesino, El Fantasma Blanco and Superzan.

Blue Demon retired from the ring in 1988 at the Monterrey Arena, where he appeared in a final match, teaming up with his son, Blue Demon Jr., who today has a successful career of his own.

The Blue Demon died just before noon on Saturday, December 16, 2000 from natural causes. Apparently Blue Demon suffered a fatal heart attack on a park bench near a subway kiosk while on his way home from his regular morning training session at The Blue Demon Instituto Atletico , where he enjoyed teaching others his fighting skills. Although an attempt was made to get him to a hospital, he was unable to be revived; He was 78 years old. Blue Demon was laid to rest wearing his trademark blue mask, the mask he never took off in public since he always kept his identity a secret.

Averno is a Mexican professional wrestler currently performing for Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre. His ring name is the Spanish rendering of Avernus, the crater where Aeneas descended into the underworld in Virgil's Aeneid.

He began wrestling in 1995 under the name Rencor Latino (Latin Hostility) after being trained by his father, a former wrestler and referee named Rodolfo Ruiz. He soon started working as an undercarder for Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre. He won his first mask in 1998 when he defeated Apolo Chino in Arena Coliseo D.F. after a midcard feud. He continued wrestling in the midcard until he was recruited by Satánico in the summer of 2001 to be part of his new Infernales group. He was renamed Averno and was joined by Mephisto who had previously wrestled as Astro Rey, Jr. The trio feuded with Último Guerrero, Rey Bucanero and Tarzan Boy over the year with Averno and Satánico unsuccessfully challenging Guerrero and Bucanero for their World Tag Team championship in August 2001 when Satánico was disqualified for using a low blow. A month later, Los Infernales defeated Guerrero's group (called Los Guerreros del Infierno afterwards) in a steel cage match when Máscara Mágica, the fourth member of Los Guerreros, was the last man in the cage, ending the feud for the most part.

In 2002, the trio won the Mexican National Trios Championship in Guadalajara, Jalisco and began feuding with La Familia de Tijuana (Nicho el Millionario, Halloween and Damián 666). The trio lost the title to La Familia in September 2002 but continued feuding into 2003 when Los Infernales and La Familia wrestled a no contest in June. After Nicho stopped appearing for CMLL, Los Infernales won a tournament to become the number one contenders for the CMLL World Trios Championship but lost to the championship team of Black Tiger III, Dr. Wagner, Jr. and Universo 2000 on August 1. At the end of the year, Averno and Mephisto turned on Satánico but there was no major feud afterwards and the pair spent much of the year teaming with Olímpico in midcard matches. In September 2004, Averno defeated Zumbido in a decision match for the vacant NWA World Middleweight Championship. Shortly afterwards, he was starting to get pushed as a foil to the up-and-coming Místico and he and Mephisto became de facto members of Los Guerreros del Infierno. Averno appeared in several matches on the top of the card, including his main event match against El Hijo del Santo for Santo's WWA Welterweight Championship where he lost clean.

In February 2005, he lost the NWA Middleweight title to Místico but he and Mephisto defeated Atlantis and Blue Panther for the CMLL World Tag Team Championship in April. When Shinsuke Nakamura and Hiroshi Tanahashi from New Japan Pro Wrestling came to CMLL, Averno teamed with them at first but the two turned on him, leading to a trios match with Averno teaming with Último Guerrero and Rey Bucanero against Nakamura, Tanashi and Shigeo Okumura on the 72nd EMLL Anniversary show. Averno and Mephisto finished the year defending their tag team title 7 times, with the most prominent being on the last Arena México show of 2005 when they defeated El Hijo del Santo and Negro Casas in the main event. In early 2006, they defended their titles against Místico and Black Warrior twice. In the first match, they won by disqualification when Black Warrior interfered in the match after being pinned and in the second match two weeks later, Black Warrior turned on Místico. In April, they lost the tag team titles to the team of Místico and Negro Casas, ending their year-long reign.

Jesús Guadalupe Delgado Saldaña (born December 10th, 1978) is a Mexican professional wrestler currently performing for Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre. He is best known for his work in the World Wrestling Federation as Essa Ríos and for his work for Total Nonstop Action Wrestling, CMLL and AAA as Mr. Águila.

He debuted in the WWF on the November 3, 1997 episode of Raw is War as part of its newly relaunched Light Heavyweight division at the age of 18, wrestling under the names Águila and Papi Chulo. This period included a match with TAKA Michinoku at WrestleMania XIV for the Light Heavyweight Championship.

He had a high-flying match with TAKA Michinoku during Extreme Championship Wrestling's Cyberslam 1999 pay-per-view before capturing the WWF Light Heavyweight title from Gillberg on his 'debut' as Essa Ríos during February 13, 2000 edition of Sunday Night HEAT.

During his time as Essa Ríos, he was managed by Lita who would often repeat Ríos's finishing moves on wrestlers he had just beaten after a match. He and Lita had a feud with Eddie Guerrero and Chyna which led to a European title match between Ríos and then-champion Guererro at Backlash 2000, which Ríos lost.

Ríos' partnership with Lita ended sometime later after an angry Ríos attacked Lita because he had lost a match. Ríos lapsed into obscurity but did have a brief feud with Kurt Angle that culminated in a main event match on Sunday Night HEAT before once again only making occasional appearances. Having been off TV for months, Ríos started accepting Japanese bookings in 2001.

After being released in 2001, with rumors being that he refused to learn English, he returned to Mexico for several years before working in AAA as part of the LLL storyline.

Águila made a comeback to the United States in 2004 as part of Team AAA/Mexico in Total Nonstop Action Wrestling with Abismo Negro, Juventud Guerrera, Héctor Garza and Heavy Metal. However, he soon returned to Mexico, continuing his feud with El Zorro and forming "X-team" with Juventud Guerrera and Charly Manson. In 2005, he jumped to Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre as a member of Los Perros del Mal which was led by Héctor Garza and Perro Aguayo, Jr. who had jumped from AAA in the past.

Pedro Aguayo better known as Perro Aguayo, was a famous Mexican wrestler in the 1970s and 1980s. His son also wrestles as Perro Aguayo, Jr. or El Hijo Del Perro Aguayo. He is one of the biggest box office attractions in Lucha Libre history and was the last major rival of El Santo. Often prone to blading, he has been described by American pundits as a cross between Terry Funk and Bruno Sammartino (for his willingness to brawl and overpower opponents). He was the first person ever crowned the WWF Light Heavyweight Champion, though pre-1997 title reigns are not included in WWE's official "canon" for that title.

He was synonymous with the Universal Wrestling Association as one of its top heels and one of the top heels lucha libre overall. In the 1990s, he helped found Asistencia Asesoría y Administración and his three way feud with Konnan and Cien Caras proved to be one of the most successful programs in terms of box office receipts. He stayed with AAA until 2000, even making an appearance on WWF's Royal Rumble in 1997 in a match that featured lucha libre legends like Canek, Mil Máscaras and up and comers who would later make names for themselves like Héctor Garza and Heavy Metal. He came to Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre to feud with Los Capos. He was successful in taking the hair of Cien Caras and Máscara Año 2000 but he lost his slated retirement match against Universo 2000. He remained in retirement until his son began feuding with Los Capos as well. Cien Caras claimed he could not retire until his business with Aguayo was finished so a double hair vs. hair match was set with Perro Aguayo and Perro Aguayo taking on Cien Caras and Máscara Año 2000. The Aguayos were successful and Perro Aguayo returned to retirement and Cien Caras went into semi-retirement.

Friends, relatives and fellow Luchadors gathered at Pantheon Garden to bid a final farewell to “The Black Shadow”. The Lucha legend was buried today in Mexico. He was 82 when he passed.

The Black Shadow real name Alejandro Cruz was born in the city of León, Guanajuato. He grew up idolizing the likes of Chino Achiu, Henry Pilusso and Murciélago Velázquez, and while he was a lucha enthusiast, his initial ambitions were to seek a career as a professional musician. He moved to Guadalajara to purse those dreams but he eventually gave up and abandoned them for lucha libre. Before becoming a luchador, he worked as a shoemaker, and he practiced some sports like cliffdiving and football (soccer).

His professional debut was a loss against Rito Romero on June 21, 1942 at the Arena "Canada Dry" in Guadalajara. He used the name "Jungla" Cruz, which he didn't really like, and his first outfit was made out of leather. Jungla Cruz was a popular newspaper comic strip character so the promoter he first wrestled for, an Arab called Elías Simón, gave him that name.

Pedro Aguayo Ramírez is a Mexican professional wrestler who achieved fame in lucha libre as Perro Aguayo, Jr. or El Hijo del Perro Aguayo ("The Son of Perro Aguayo"). He is the legitimate son of lucha libre legend Perro Aguayo.

Debuting professionally at the age of 15, "Perrito" started out wrestling established veterans who could bring the best out of him in AAA. He teamed with his father semi-regularly and the pair won the National Tag Team titles on two occasions. Aguayo made a big impact by teaming with Héctor Garza and engaging in a four-way feud with Heavy Metal and Latin Lover. These four competed in various tag and four-way matches throughout the lengthy feud, with Garza and Metal losing their hair at different times. In May of 2003, Aguayo jumped from AAA to Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL). He was initially brought in as a face to team with Negro Casas against Los Guerreros del Infierno. However, Aguayo did not the expected positive reactions from the crowd. CMLL decided to turn him heel by having him win a tournament for a shot at Atlantis' Michinoku Junior Heavyweight title. He won the tournament over heels, but they were popular heels like Dr. Wagner, Jr. and Rey Bucanero, who had made their name in CMLL, so by the time he met the babyface Atlantis for the title, he was seen as a heel by the fans.

The title challenge was unsuccessful, but Aguayo was quickly put into a program with Los Capos with the story being he was getting revenge on Universo 2000 for ending his father's career. During this feud, Shocker's popular Los Guapos group backed Aguayo and he became a face again. The feud continued through the winter and into 2004 and was ended when Aguayo and El Terrible (a member of Los Guapos) defeated Cien Caras and Máscara Año 2000 in a double hair vs. hair match. During the spring, Aguayo once again backed up Negro Casas and Shocker in their feud with Pierroth, Jr., Vampiro Canadiense and Tarzan Boy. The two groups went at it in trios, singles, and tag matches before they were put in the annual "Cage of Death" match where the last two men in the cage, regardless of which team they are on, face each other in a hair vs. hair match. The heel trio escaped early and Shocker made a quick exit as well. Aguayo and Casas faced each other and Perro pinned Casas, winning his hair.

Tensions began to rise between Casas and Aguayo, and when Héctor Garza jumped to CMLL in July, Aguayo ditched Casas and joined him. After turning heel again, he took part in the Leyenda de Plata tournament, an annual tournament in the honor of lucha libre legend El Santo. After securing his place in the semifinals, Aguayo interfered in Negro Casas' match with Atlantis, costing Casas the bout and allowing Atlantis to advance. After defeating Atlantis in the semifinals, Aguayo faced the previous year's winner, Felino, for the trophy. After winning the match, El Hijo del Santo came to the ring to award the trophy to Aguayo. Aguayo said he didn't want the trophy and smashed it, claiming that Santo wasn't nearly the legend that Perro Aguayo, Sr. was. The angle was hot and played off the feud the original Santo and Perro Aguayo had during the 1970s. Due to El Hijo del Santo's short tour with CMLL, the feud was rushed towards an indecisive singles match. The closest thing to closure for the feud was a trios match at the CMLL 71st Anniversary show where the team of Hijo de Perro Aguayo, Hèctor Garza and El Terrible (soon to be named La Furia del Norte) defeated Hijo del Santo, Negro Casas and Shocker. After that match, Santo focused more on his program with Averno and Los Guerreros del Infierno and Aguayo set his sights on Casas. Aguayo lost to Casas in a match for the 71st Anniversary show trophy and the feud cooled down from there.

In November of that year, Aguayo reheated his feud with Los Capos by teaming frequently with Vampiro and Pierroth, Jr. who were also feuding with Los Capos at the time. At the year-end show, he had another singles match with Universo 2000 which led to Aguayo's father running in and making the save. In February of 2005, Perro Aguayo, Sr. announced his return to wrestling for one match where he would team with his son against Cien Caras and Máscara Año 2000 in a double hair vs. hair match. Aguayo and son won the match, billed as Cien Caras' retirement match (Cien Caras would continue to wrestle but not in CMLL's main arenas). Soon after the match, La Familia de Tijuana (Halloween, Damián 666), and Aguayo decided to start a new faction, Los Perros del Mal. Soon, the group would consist of Aguayo, La Familia, La Furia del Norte, Blue Demon, Jr., Pierroth, Jr. and his two sons. The group took on many rivals, including Negro Casas, Felino, Heavy Metal (who had just jumped from AAA), Máscara Mágica, Universo 2000 and Aguayo's new focus, the rising star Místico who had defeated him in a main event singles match. The two agreed to a hair vs. mask match, but no date was announced. Los Perros del Mal faced off against their rivals in the 2005 "Cage of Death" match where Damián 666 took the hair of Máscara Mágica.

Perro died on March 20th, 2015, due to a freak accident during a wrestling match.

Andrés Alejandro Palomeque González (born July 1, 1971) is a Mexican professional wrestler, best known in Lucha Libre as Abismo Negro ("black abyss" or "black hole" in Spanish). He currently works for Asistencia Asesoría y Administración in Mexico.

Abismo Negro is a widely-recognized wrestler. He is credited with creating the "Martinente Extreme", a Tombstone piledriver with a double flip, which is an illegal move in Lucha Libre. His in-ring antics include using aerosol cans as makeshift flamethrowers. He joined the storyline splinter group Lucha Libre Latina, or simply LLL, a group similar to the nWo stable in WCW. The group feuded with real-life AAA promoter Antonio Peña and AAA loyalists such as La Parka (PAP), Octagón, Latin Lover and others, on his way to becoming one of the most consistent main event performers for AAA.

In 2004, he, along with Héctor Garza, Juventud Guerrera, Mr. Águila and later Heavy Metal, came to Total Nonstop Action Wrestling as part of Team Mexico. The team was successful but relations between AAA and TNA were strained and Abismo returned to AAA when the deal fell through. AAA hinted at a possible face turn when Abismo, along with Psicosis and Mini Psicosis, attacked LLL leader Cibernético. The two faced off in a cage match, won by Cibernético, but Abismo eventually made up with him. Despite rumors that he was jumping to CMLL, Abismo remained in AAA and was sent to a tour with Pro Wrestling NOAH in the spring of 2005. Later in the year, he turned face and began feuding with Cibernético.

Vipers Revolution

Los Vipers were a stable created in August 1997 during a Noti AAA sketch. Los Vipers Primera Clase: Cibernetico, Psicosis, Histeria, Mosco De La Merced, Maniaco, Mini Psicosis, Mosquito De La Merced and Mini Histeria.


In typical Antonio Pena fashion, the angle ended up going nowhere and after a month or two Los Vipers were re-united once again minus Shiiba, El Cuervo & Pentagon but plus Tokyo Viper.

Over the course of the next few years the actual Vipers stable began to diminish and the only members left using the name were the four-man stable comprised of: Psicosis, Histeria, Mosco De La Merced & Maniaco. Cibernetico had decided to start his own LLL (Lucha Libre Latina) group which was Pena's version of the nWo (New World Order) that existed in WCW. Maniaco ended up leaving the promotion ending his association with Los Vipers and the group OFFICIALLY died once Histeria turned tecnico in late 2005.

Of course, nothing's forever, even breakups. By spring 2004, the Vipers were reborn as Vipers Revolution.

Muchos ya lo sabrán, otros no… pero Blue Demon Jr. tiene su podcast en Dixo.
Sigo de manera regular el blog de Mariana H vía RSS en Dixo, pero hoy que entré me topé con los podcasts de una de las leyendas del “pancracio” mexicano.
Algo muy bueno que viene a reiterarnos el caracter global, sin barreras y para todos los gustos que ofrece la red. Si bien me gusta el show que hay detrás de la lucha libre, estos modernos heroes representan muchos sueños de niños, adolescentes y adultos, por lo que acercarse de esta forma es algo digno de señalar.
Enhorabuena por esta iniciativa. Sobre todo al oir al “Demonio Azul” hablar sobre el 14 de Febrero. "

Los Villanos

Los Villanos are a five brothers who've all worked under the Villano name. Each one was identified only by a Roman Numeral: I, II, III, IV, and V.
Their father is Ray Mendoza; despite being a successful wrestler himself, he demanded his sons learn another profession/trade before becoming allowing them to start with wrestling. Some of the sons secretly wrestled before fulfilling this request, but all earned degrees in their non-wrestling fields.

As the name suggests, the Villanos were known as villains for large stretches of their career. As a family, their most famous feud was and is with the Brazos, including a memorial trios match where all three Brazos lost their masks.

Villano III's career highlights include feuds with Pegasus Kid and Atlantis, the later who took his mask. Villano IV and V are probably the most famous in the United States due to their long underdcard stretch in WCW. Villano I was a trainer for the UWA in the 90s. Villano II was a freelance artist in his spare time.

Villano I, Villano II, and Ray Mendoza have passed. Villanos III, IV, and V were last in CMLL but are now independent wrestlers.
