Los Metálicos

Los Metálicos were a stable that wrestled in CMLL from 1991 - 1993. Members of the stable included:
Oro
Plata
Bronce (played by Black Warrior until his jump to AAA in May 1992; Gimmick was then given to an unknown wrestler)
Platino
Los Metálicos were heavily courted by Antonio Pena for his AAA in promotion. In particular Pena wanted Oro but eventually he decided to create his own team which were exact copies of Los Metálicos named Las Gemas Del Ring.

Unfortunately after Oro's passing in October 1993, there was no point in continuing with the Metálicos gimmick and it was dropped.

Los Megas

Los Megas were an IWRG based group which started out as the tag team pairing of Mega and Super Mega. Eventually Super Mega got phased out and Ultra Mega came along to join up with Mega. Finally, the Omega gimmick was created and a regular trio was born. They had lots of success in the IWRG until one by one they began losing their masks. These days the only reminder of Los Megas is an unmasked Ultra Mega working undercards as a rudo.

Lucha Libre Latina

LLL (Lucha Libre Latina) is a long running rudo group in AAA, attempting at taking over the promotion. The idea for LLL seems to draw heavily upon WCW/WWE's nWo group. Most, but not all, rudos in AAA have joined LLL at one point or another.
The LLL name was used for a couple of AAA television shows outside of Televisa, as Televisa owns the AAA name.

Currently, the LLL name has been downplayed in favor of La Secta and Konnan's foreign army concepts, but both groups are supposedly under the LLL umbrella.

Current members:

Cibernetico
Chucky
Muerte Cibernetica
Chessman
Espiritu
Ozz
El Cuervo
Escoria

Los Kumbia Kids

Los Kumbia Kids came together in 2004. The stable was a take-off on the famous Kumbia Kings rap group. At first the stable consisted of five members who would wrestle in handicap matches. They were:
Johnny
Jessy
Javi
Tee-Wee
Tony
The group didn't generate any interest and were largely forgotten about soon after their debut. Johnny left for CMLL in the summer of 2005 and around the same time Tony left to become 'TKX' (Tony Kumbia Xtreme) on the indy circuit. A new version of Los Kumbia Kids was formed to wrestle openers once in a while. They were:
Jessy
Javi
Kevin
Kevin would alternate his group affiliation with either Los Kumbias or Los Warriors depending on which role was needed for the night.

Lucha Libre: Los Junior Atomicos

I wonder if he made all the Los Junior Atomicos drink that stuff?

Started in 1996 by Antonio Pena for his AAA promotion, Los Junior Atomicos were a four-man group comprised of

Blue Demon Jr.
Halcon Dorado Jr.
Mascara Sagrada Jr.
Tinieblas Jr.

The Juniors had a long feud with Karis La Momia and Los Payasos ending in a cage match where the loser would have to unmask.
Halcon Dorado Jr. lost and turned on his partners afterwards, blaming them for the loss.
The Juniors were largely forgotten about until 1998 when Pena reformed the group with new members:

La Parka Jr.
Mascara Sagrada Jr.
Perro Aguayo Jr.
Sicodelico Jr.

Blue Demon Jr. would eventually rejoined his old partners when Sicodelico Jr. left AAA

Wellllll....
Blogger seems to have wiped out all my old blogs.
Yep, everyone of them.
So I have recreated them here in the new Blogger2 neighborhood.
I e-mailed Blogger about this and am waiting to see if they can replace my archives.
But until that time, we will move onward and upward and just act like none of this ugliness ever happened.
I thank everyone for stopping by, and I ask everyone for their patience till I can get some good content back up for you.
I'll get everyones backlinks back up ASAP. I owe a LOT to those out there that have been kind enough to link to me in the past, and I will have everything up and running again PDQ.

Thanks again,

~~ Sabre ~~
