The Blue Panther is a Mexican pro wrestler currently working for Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre. The "Blue" part of his ring name is an homage to Aníbal, a wrestler he looked up to growing up who wore a blue mask.

Blue Panther began wrestling in northern Mexico in the late 1970s before getting noticed by René Guajardo in Monterrey. Guarjardo got Panther booked in Universal Wrestling Association and Panther made his debut in their main building, El Torero de Cuatros Caminos in Naucalpan, in 1981. He wrestled on the undercard as a rudo (heel) before getting his first push in 1984 by winning the UWA World Welterweight championship from veteran worker Matemático at the end of the year. He had a feud with Black Man that saw him lose his UWA Welterweight title but win Black Man's mask in 1986. During the remainder of his UWA career, he won the UWA World Junior Light Heavyweight Championship from Gran Hamada and traded the title back and forth with Solar I and won the mask of Kendo.

In 1991, he jumped to Empresa Mexicana de Lucha Libre and began a feud with Atlantis over the NWA World Middleweight Championship. Although Blue Panther was unsuccessful in his August title challenge, the feud established him as a top rudo in EMLL, leading to him defeating Satánico to become the first CMLL World Middleweight Wrestling Champion when the company changed names and created new titles. In late 1991, he began feuding with the American Love Machine. Their April 1992 "Mask vs. Mask" mask, where Love Machine was disqualified for using an illegal Martinete (piledriver), sold out Arena México and 8,000 fans watched the match on big screens outside the arena. The following month, he jumped to Antonio Peña's new AAA promotion and continued his feud with Love Machine with a "hair vs. mask" match win in July 1993. The match featured a double turn which led to Love Machine becoming a rudo and forming Los Gringos Locos with Eddie Guerrero.

Much of his time in AAA was spent in programs based around the National Middleweight Championship. He worked programs with Ángel Azteca, Super Astro, Solar I and Octagón. After the downturn of the Mexican economy, he started his own promotion with several business partners called PROMELL (later Promo Azteca). When the promotion failed, he returned to AAA briefly in 1997 but he was unhappy being programmed with Máscara Sagrada, Jr. and jumped to CMLL by the end of the year. In 1998, Panther teamed with Dr. Wagner, Jr. and his real-life nephew Black Warrior to form "Los Laguneros." The team won a tournament to win the vacant CMLL World Trios Championship. In 1999, Panther and Wagner teamed to feud with Negro Casas and El Hijo del Santo for the CMLL World Tag Team Wrestling Championship with an unsuccessful title challenge in September of that year. In 2000 and 2001, Los Laguneros successfully defended their titles against Los Villanos (III, IV & V) and the team of Negro Casas, Emilio Charles, Jr. and Tarzan Boy while Blue Panther had a singles feud with Olímpico.

In 2002, Black Warrior left Los Laguneros and the trios titles were vacated. Fuerza Guerrera replaced Black Warrior and they won another tournament for the CMLL World Trios title but they reigned for only three months before dropping the titles to Black Warrior, Atlantis and Mr. Niebla. Over time, Blue Panther was getting booked more as a técnico (face) and began to team with former rivals, Atlantis, Lizmark, Jr. and Mr. Niebla as La Ola Azul in a feud with Los Guerreros del Infierno. In 2004, Atlantis and Blue Panther defeated Último Guerrero and Rey Bucanero to win the CMLL World Tag Team Wrestling Championship. Three months after successfully defending the titles against Olímpico and Rey Bucanero, Atlantis and Panther lost the titles to the team of Averno and Mephisto in April 2005. When Atlantis turned rudo, Panther feuded with him off and on and the two often ripped at each other's masks, hinting at a possible mask vs. mask match.

The Blue Demon (April 24, 1922–December 16, 2000) was the stage name of the Mexican masked wrestler Alejandro Muñoz Moreno, who was widely considered to be one of the greatest Mexican wrestlers of his time.

Alejandro was born April 24, 1922 in Rinconada, Nuevo León . He was the child of farmers and was the fifth of twelve children. At young age, Alexander dropped out of school and moved to Monterrey, where his uncles gave him a job working on the National Railroad. His co-workers there gave him the nickname 'Manotas', referring to his large, powerful hands.

A chance meeting with the famous Mexican wrestler Rolando Vera piqued his interest in Lucha Libre, Vera even offering to tutor him and help him start a career. He began wrestling without a mask in Laredo, Texas. His first match was against Chema Lopez on March 12, 1948, a match which he won handily. Adopting the mask and persona of The Blue Demon, he headed back to Mexico to start a real career. His first appearance as The Blue Demon was in Mexico City in September of 1948, where he fought Benny Arcilla. Blue began his career in the ring as a rudo. From there, he formed a famous team with another well-known masked luchador named The Black Shadow, and the two became known as Los Hermanos Shadow over the next few years.

In 1952, the famous wrestler Santo beat and unmasked The Black Shadow in the ring, which triggered Blue's decision to become a técnico in the ring, as well as a legendary feud between The Blue Demon and Santo that culminated in Blue's beating Santo in a well-publicized series of matches in 1952 and again in 1953. In 1953, he won the NWA World Welterweight Championship from Santo, and held it until 1958. Their rivalry never really ended in later years, although they appeared together in a series of horror films, since Santo always remembered his defeat at the Blue Demon's hands.

Blue Demon first appeared in cameos in a couple of innocuous wrestling/action flicks made in 1961, where he was just one of several wrestlers who appeared in the background. But in 1964, Enrique Vergara, the producer of the then-successful Santo movies, decided to diversify a bit and allowed the 42-year-old Blue Demon a series of action/horror films of his own. The plots of the Blue Demon movies are thought to be extremely similar to those of Santo's, and also that Vergara wanted to cultivate a second movie star, since at the time Santo was looking to get himself a large raise.

From 1964 to 1977, Blue Demon starred in a total of 25 action/horror/sci-fi films, and more recently was the subject of a feature-length Mexican documentary entitled Blue Demon, the Champion (1989). Of those 25 films, Santo co-starred with him in nine of them, though the two were never good friends in real life. In three of his films, Blue Demon starred as the leader of a squadron of masked superheroes known as The Champions of Justice (which for some reason never counted Santo among their ranks). Membership in the Champions included such legendary Mexican wrestling figures as Mil Mascaras, Tinieblas, El Rayo de Jalisco, El Medico Asesino, El Fantasma Blanco and Superzan.

Blue Demon retired from the ring in 1988 at the Monterrey Arena, where he appeared in a final match, teaming up with his son, Blue Demon Jr., who today has a successful career of his own.

The Blue Demon died just before noon on Saturday, December 16, 2000 from natural causes. Apparently Blue Demon suffered a fatal heart attack on a park bench near a subway kiosk while on his way home from his regular morning training session at The Blue Demon Instituto Atletico , where he enjoyed teaching others his fighting skills. Although an attempt was made to get him to a hospital, he was unable to be revived; He was 78 years old. Blue Demon was laid to rest wearing his trademark blue mask, the mask he never took off in public since he always kept his identity a secret.

Averno is a Mexican professional wrestler currently performing for Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre. His ring name is the Spanish rendering of Avernus, the crater where Aeneas descended into the underworld in Virgil's Aeneid.

He began wrestling in 1995 under the name Rencor Latino (Latin Hostility) after being trained by his father, a former wrestler and referee named Rodolfo Ruiz. He soon started working as an undercarder for Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre. He won his first mask in 1998 when he defeated Apolo Chino in Arena Coliseo D.F. after a midcard feud. He continued wrestling in the midcard until he was recruited by Satánico in the summer of 2001 to be part of his new Infernales group. He was renamed Averno and was joined by Mephisto who had previously wrestled as Astro Rey, Jr. The trio feuded with Último Guerrero, Rey Bucanero and Tarzan Boy over the year with Averno and Satánico unsuccessfully challenging Guerrero and Bucanero for their World Tag Team championship in August 2001 when Satánico was disqualified for using a low blow. A month later, Los Infernales defeated Guerrero's group (called Los Guerreros del Infierno afterwards) in a steel cage match when Máscara Mágica, the fourth member of Los Guerreros, was the last man in the cage, ending the feud for the most part.

In 2002, the trio won the Mexican National Trios Championship in Guadalajara, Jalisco and began feuding with La Familia de Tijuana (Nicho el Millionario, Halloween and Damián 666). The trio lost the title to La Familia in September 2002 but continued feuding into 2003 when Los Infernales and La Familia wrestled a no contest in June. After Nicho stopped appearing for CMLL, Los Infernales won a tournament to become the number one contenders for the CMLL World Trios Championship but lost to the championship team of Black Tiger III, Dr. Wagner, Jr. and Universo 2000 on August 1. At the end of the year, Averno and Mephisto turned on Satánico but there was no major feud afterwards and the pair spent much of the year teaming with Olímpico in midcard matches. In September 2004, Averno defeated Zumbido in a decision match for the vacant NWA World Middleweight Championship. Shortly afterwards, he was starting to get pushed as a foil to the up-and-coming Místico and he and Mephisto became de facto members of Los Guerreros del Infierno. Averno appeared in several matches on the top of the card, including his main event match against El Hijo del Santo for Santo's WWA Welterweight Championship where he lost clean.

In February 2005, he lost the NWA Middleweight title to Místico but he and Mephisto defeated Atlantis and Blue Panther for the CMLL World Tag Team Championship in April. When Shinsuke Nakamura and Hiroshi Tanahashi from New Japan Pro Wrestling came to CMLL, Averno teamed with them at first but the two turned on him, leading to a trios match with Averno teaming with Último Guerrero and Rey Bucanero against Nakamura, Tanashi and Shigeo Okumura on the 72nd EMLL Anniversary show. Averno and Mephisto finished the year defending their tag team title 7 times, with the most prominent being on the last Arena México show of 2005 when they defeated El Hijo del Santo and Negro Casas in the main event. In early 2006, they defended their titles against Místico and Black Warrior twice. In the first match, they won by disqualification when Black Warrior interfered in the match after being pinned and in the second match two weeks later, Black Warrior turned on Místico. In April, they lost the tag team titles to the team of Místico and Negro Casas, ending their year-long reign.

Jesús Guadalupe Delgado Saldaña (born December 10th, 1978) is a Mexican professional wrestler currently performing for Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre. He is best known for his work in the World Wrestling Federation as Essa Ríos and for his work for Total Nonstop Action Wrestling, CMLL and AAA as Mr. Águila.

He debuted in the WWF on the November 3, 1997 episode of Raw is War as part of its newly relaunched Light Heavyweight division at the age of 18, wrestling under the names Águila and Papi Chulo. This period included a match with TAKA Michinoku at WrestleMania XIV for the Light Heavyweight Championship.

He had a high-flying match with TAKA Michinoku during Extreme Championship Wrestling's Cyberslam 1999 pay-per-view before capturing the WWF Light Heavyweight title from Gillberg on his 'debut' as Essa Ríos during February 13, 2000 edition of Sunday Night HEAT.

During his time as Essa Ríos, he was managed by Lita who would often repeat Ríos's finishing moves on wrestlers he had just beaten after a match. He and Lita had a feud with Eddie Guerrero and Chyna which led to a European title match between Ríos and then-champion Guererro at Backlash 2000, which Ríos lost.

Ríos' partnership with Lita ended sometime later after an angry Ríos attacked Lita because he had lost a match. Ríos lapsed into obscurity but did have a brief feud with Kurt Angle that culminated in a main event match on Sunday Night HEAT before once again only making occasional appearances. Having been off TV for months, Ríos started accepting Japanese bookings in 2001.

After being released in 2001, with rumors being that he refused to learn English, he returned to Mexico for several years before working in AAA as part of the LLL storyline.

Águila made a comeback to the United States in 2004 as part of Team AAA/Mexico in Total Nonstop Action Wrestling with Abismo Negro, Juventud Guerrera, Héctor Garza and Heavy Metal. However, he soon returned to Mexico, continuing his feud with El Zorro and forming "X-team" with Juventud Guerrera and Charly Manson. In 2005, he jumped to Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre as a member of Los Perros del Mal which was led by Héctor Garza and Perro Aguayo, Jr. who had jumped from AAA in the past.
