Luchadores - Chessman
It's been a while since I did a write up on Chessman (2007 to be exact) so here are some updates.....
Chessman was born Kevin Citlali Zamora on July 2, 1975 in Villa Nicolás Romero, Mexico State.
He was trained by luchadores Super Taka, El Canek and Pepe Casas and made his lucha libre debut on July 3, 1996 at the Arena López Mateos in Tlalnepantla, Mexico State, wrestling masked as M-357 (357 Magnum) .
During his wrestling career, he has been known as M-357, Magnum, Quinto Elemento (The Fifth Element) and finally Chessman.
He took the name Chessman, not from the game, but from the notorious criminal, Caryl Chessman.
Chessman works for the Asistencia Asesoría y Administración (AAA) wrestling promotion, and has been a part of many wrestling stables such as The Black Family, Lucha Libre Latina (LLL), La Secta Cibernetica, La Secta del Mesías and Los Hell Brothers.
During his career he has been nicknamed El Apostol de la Maldad" ("The Bad Apostle"), "El Asesino de la luz Roja" ("The Red Light Assassin"), Dark Chessman and El Asesino de la luz Negra" ("The Black Light Assassin").
Chessman has held the AAA World Mixed Tag Team Championship (with Tiffany), the Mexican National Tag Team Championship (with Electroshock) the Mexican National Atómicos Championship (3 times, once with Ozz, Escoria and Cuervo and twice with The Psycho Circus (Killer Clown, Psycho Clown and Zombie Clown) and the UWA World Light Heavyweight Championship.
Here is a video of Chessman taking on El Mesias
You can find out more about Chessman at the Asistencia Asesoría y Administración (AAA) website here.

Luchador - Anibal
Carlos Ignacio Carrillo Contreras was born on November 5, 1940 in either Topilejo, Zitácuaro or Laureles Michoacán, Mexico. There's some conflict about his birthplace.
Carlos is better known in Lucha Libre as Anibal.
Anibal was trained by Chico Fernández and Salvador Flores and made his pro wrestling debut on November 1963 in Topilejo, Michoacán.
It wasn't until 1991 that Anibal finally lost his mask to Máscara Año 2000 on December 13, 1991 at the Arena México in Mexico City.
3 years later Anibal passed away on March 9, 1994 at age 53.
During his career, Anibal held several titles including the Distrito Federal Light Heavyweight Wrestling Title, the NWA World Middleweight Title Wrestling twice, the National Middleweight Wrestling Title, UWA World Middleweight Wrestling Title, UWA World Junior Light Heavyweight Wrestling Title twice, the WWC World Junior Heavyweight Wrestling Title in Puerto Rico and the European Middleweight Wrestling Title in Panama.
There is an El Hijo de Aníbal that wrestles in Lucha Libre, but it's not known if this is the actual son of Anibal or not.
Anibal wrestled for EMLL (Empresa Mexicana de Lucha Libre) the promotion that later changed it's name to CMLL.

He played the role of a heel and would occasionally tag team with a fellow Villano, with whom he could cheat by switching places while the referee was distracted (all Villanos wore identical attire, aside from their Roman numeral distinctions). However, while working for WCW, Villano IV was severely injured by a botched move, by Kanyon and Raven, that would become known as the "Villano breaker."
The other sons of Ray Mendoza who have used the name "Villano" include Villano I, Villano II, Villano III (Arturo Díaz Mendoza), and Villano V.
