Luchador: Rocky Romero
John R. Rivera was born on October 28, 1982 in Havana, Cuba.
He is better known by his wrestling name Rocky Romero and as the fourth Black Tiger.
In 2003, Rocky began working for Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL).
Rocky became the first ever CMLL World Super Lightweight Champion after beating Volador Jr. in a tournament final on September 12, 2003. He has gone on to hold the belt 3 times and is the current champion.
Which is a little awkward because on October 5, 2008, Rocky jumped from CMLL to rival promotion Asistencia AsesorÃa y Administración (AAA) while still holding the CMLL belt and became a member of Sean Waltman's D-Generation MEX stable.
So what happens to the belt?
